Hey folks,

So, another month is done; September starts tomorrow. Can’t believe how quickly this year is flying by!

Not really a great deal to tell you about today to be honest. Went for my run this morning, in the rain! It’s been raining all day. But my run was good, did 1.4 miles in 16:01, with an average mile pace of 11:24. So all in all a good effort. Was a bit slower than last time, but I think that was down to dodging puddles, people, and not being able to see properly! I need window wipers on my glasses I think haha. Felt good though, and hoping to improve on that time on Wednesday.

I didn’t make it to the gym today, just wasn’t feeling it for some reason. Not sure why. But I did do a workout at home to make up for it, and plan on going to the gym tomorrow too. Usually Tuesday is my rest day, but with weigh in on Friday, am making the most of every day I can. Plus, I won’t get a workout on Saturday or Sunday, so it all works out okay anyway. I’m dreading weigh in though, as I stepped on the scales yesterday and had gained again. Not sure what that’s all about. I guess it could have been water weight from my treat night….. not sure. Hoping to get it off before Friday. The last thing I want is a gain at official weigh in. It’s been losses all the way so far, will be so disappointed if it’s not. Even a maintain would be okay, just not a gain!

Diet wise today I’ve done really well, despite having pizza for dinner! Am sitting at just under 1800 calories, with a calorie burn of over 600. So all in all, it’s been a pretty good day today. I’m drinking a ton of water as well, so hopefully that’ll flush out some fat haha.

To sum up August then…. it’s been a mixed bag to be fair. Some ups, some downs, and some cruising in the middle too. I suppose it’s not been all bad, but I guess it could have been better. Sort of looking forward to what September will bring though, am hopeful for good things.

I’m a strong candidate for the housekeeping job apparently, which is good. If I get it, I won’t start until the end of the month pretty much, but at least it’s well paid and a fairly straight forward job to do. Just some cleaning, gardening and cooking. Oh and walking 3 dogs! It’s all good, and the lady is lovely. Am really hoping I get it to be honest. Watch this space as they say!

Hey folks,

Been in a stinker of a mood all day that I just can’t shift. Woke up like it and have no idea why, as was feeling great when I went to bed. It must have been the sleep that did it!

Even tried going for a walk, but that didn’t help. If anything it just pissed me off more to be honest!! It’s really frustrating and just wish I could shake it off. Feel like just going to bed to be honest and not getting up for a week or so.

I’ve managed to do a bit of studying today, and finished off my gym instructor revision. Will keep reading my notes and the book until my course though, so it’s not officially done as yet. I’m really scared about my practical to be honest; it’s just a daunting prospect I suppose, having to plan and lead a session…. eek.

Apart from those two things, I’ve done nothing much at all today. Just not felt like it. Really didn’t want to get up this morning either, but hubby gave me no choice. I guess that’s probably a good thing, as laying in bed probably wouldn’t of helped either. But this mood is driving me crazy. I just feel so aggravated it’s unreal.

Diet wise I’ve done okay today, stuck to my guns and not eaten much as it’s technically a rest day (despite the fact I went for a walk….oops.). Have only had around 1200 calories so far today. Which to be fair probably isn’t really enough, but I just have no appetite. In too much of a mood to eat to be honest.

Am going to call it a night for this now, hopefully tomorrow’s post will be more upbeat. Got my run in the morning and gym, so hopefully that’ll help if I wake up in this mood again tomorrow. Am really hoping I don’t though.

Hey folks,

A bit of an up and down day today; went back for a second interview for the housekeeper job, which went well, then tried to quit the nanny job, but things didn’t go so well! I won’t go into much on that as it just stresses me out and feeling really chilled at the moment. But hopefully it’ll get resolved sooner rather than later.

This afternoon was my PT session; which was as awesome as ever. I know I say the same thing every week, but I honestly have the best PT in Cambridge! He’s a genuine legend. His sessions are fresh and interesting, and equally challenging and tough! I love my sessions so much, even when I’m tired, sweaty and breathless! I really, seriously, need to quit smoking. It’s having such an impact on my fitness. I really wish I’d not started again after I did so well last time 😦

(On that note though, am hoping next week is my time. Not sure which day it’ll be, but am going to try. Watch this space.)

But my PT session made me feel so much better; my PT really cheered me up too, he makes me laugh so much. 🙂 It’s definitely part of my therapy, and I’d be so lost without it. I’m hoping I will be as good when I’m a PT myself. Fingers crossed!

Diet wise is a bit of a train wreck tonight as it’s my evening off haha. I don’t tend to calorie count on a Saturday night and have the odd treat or two…. tonight I chose aero mint chocolate and wine gums! Feeling a bit rough after just the wine gums if I’m honest! May save the chocolate for another time….

Anyway, that’s all from me for tonight folks, just going to chillax with some tunes. Am so tired out, think it’ll be an early night as well for me! (and a nice lush lay in tomorrow, yay!).

Hey folks,

Pretty good day today, especially my run this morning, totally smashed it! Did 1.43 miles in 15:59! So so close to the 15 minute mark that I’m aiming for. My average mile pace was 11:10 per mile. So that’s come down by nearly half a minute as well. Really proud of myself! Felt great and my pace is getting quicker when I run, I’m actually running not jogging now 🙂 Loving it.

After that I jumped in the shower (not literally!), then headed off to the gym. Sounds crazy to have a shower then go to the gym, I know! But that’s just the weirdness that is me haha. Here’s what I did at the gym:

Warm up on the Rower for 5 minutes on Level 4, burning 54 calories.

Tri-sets on Biceps

1 set with 5kg DB’s
1 set with 4kg DB’s
Bicep Curls x12
Reverse Bicep Curls x12
Hammer Curls x12

Bent Over Row
4 x10 with 5kg DB

Seated Row
2 x10 @ 18kg
2 x10 @ 25kg

Lat Pulldown
Wide grip – 2 x10 @21.3kg and 2 x10 @ 28.3kg
Close grip – as above

And that was my workout done. Burned 119 calories. I left out shoulders today as we worked them really hard at Ladies Tone yesterday. Upping my weights felt really good, and shows I’m getting stronger. Am well happy about that!

After the gym I walked into town, which is about a mile or so (tracked it to see!). Got myself some new shoes for a wedding that we’re going to next weekend, as all I own is trainers! Need to sort out an outfit as well at some point. Tried on some size 12 trousers in Primark and couldn’t get them done up!! Their sizing is ridiculous, as I’m a 10/12 everywhere else I go! Had to leave them as they were sale ones and didn’t have any bigger sizes 😦

I then got myself some lunch and headed home. Since then I’ve been working out the bills/money/finances, fun fun fun! Always too many things going out and not enough coming in, but hopefully that’ll change really soon when I start working again. Am hoping to get the housekeeper job, am seeing the lady for a second interview tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed for me folks!

Diet wise I’m doing really well; including my dinner (which I’ve already tracked), I’m sitting at just over 1,200 calories. So leaves plenty for dessert later on 🙂

Hey folks,

Blogging early again to allow for a chilled evening. Am tired as!

Been a good day though, went to the gym for ladies tone this morning; the usual PT that takes the class was off as it’s his birthday, so we had a different PT take it. It was killer! So many squats, weighted ones and bodyweight ones, jump squats, side lunges, bench press, bent over row, crunches, planks, shoulder press and lateral raises. I’m sure there’s something I’ve forgotten as well haha. It was seriously intense, but awesome! Really enjoyed it and am sure feeling it in my legs now!

This afternoon I went to see a lady about a housekeeping job. It sounds really good and pays really well too! So now I have a tricky decision to make. As I’m due to start my nanny job in September :/ and I can’t do both as the days clash. I know which I’d prefer to do, but it’s tricky as I’ve signed a contract for the nanny job, so not quite sure how to get out of it now. I guess circumstances do change, so they’ve probably experienced it before, but I’m just a bit scared of telling the boss. I’ve still got to get the housekeeping job signed and sealed first, before I do anything about the nanny job. So watch this space!

Diet wise I’ve done really well, burned a lot of calories today, and earned my dinner of nachos! One of my fave meals for sure.

Feeling really good right now, and hoping it stays that way. I love feeling on top of the world!

I’m looking forward to my run tomorrow, although with the way my legs feel right now, it may be harder than usual! But will still get out there and get it done, then the gym after that for back, shoulders and biceps!

Right, going to hit the books for an hour or so until hubby gets home, so I shall leave it there for today. Thanks for reading as always, means the world to me!

Hey folks,

Really good day today; my run went really well this morning, still no pain, so I think it’s safe to say I’m recovered! Woop!!
I did 1.37 miles in 16:17, with an average mile pace of 11:55 per mile. So I’m below the 12 minute mark which is awesome. My aim is to get the run done in 15 minutes or less, then I’ll up it to two miles. I’m really enjoying my running, and seeing the improvements is a great feeling. I managed to avoid the rain this morning too haha.

After my run was my usual protein shake breakfast and a banana, then got ready to hit the gym for LBT! Which was a cracking class as usual. We did fast tempo weighted wide squats, weighted narrow squats, lunges, deadlifts, split squats, weighted sit ups, crunches, glute bridges and planks. Was pretty hardcore, but so worth it. I will be slim haha.

This afternoon I’ve just been revising my gym instructor stuff ready for my practical in October. It’s nearly September, so it’s really not that far off, which is scary! I do a 4 day course, then 2 weeks after that I have a practical assessment! It’s quite a daunting prospect to be honest, but fingers crossed I’ll be okay. I’m half looking forward to it, half terrified haha.

Not sure what my plans are for this evening, am pretty tired now, so probably won’t do much more revision, as it just won’t sink in. If hubby plays on the xbox I might just chill with some tunes, or read a book. Something not too taxing! Otherwise will watch TV with him.

Diet wise am doing really well today, currently sitting around the 1300 mark, and that includes dinner that I’ve not yet eaten! Add to that over 400 calories of exercise, and I’m rocking it! I’m even having pizza for dinner too, see everything in moderation. I don’t deny myself of anything, I just have smaller portions of the naughty stuff! That’s the key to success; if you deny yourself the odd treat then you just get fed up, and if you’re like me, give in completely and stuff your face with junk! Feeling deprived is not a good feeling, so just don’t do it! Eat to fuel your body, for whatever you’re doing, more so for exercise, as there’s a greater demand for energy which comes from carbohydrates and fats. Yes I did say fats! They’re not the enemy as such, just the bad fats should be limited, and by bad fats I mean saturated. Certain foods like avocado contain good fats that your body actually needs.

I’m offering my diet plan to anyone who feels they’d like to lose weight, so contact me if you’d be interested. I can do it via online as well as in person, so it’s not a problem if you’re not local to me. I can just do an online or over the phone consultation. 🙂

Hey folks,

So, so tired tonight, so will keep this brief I think!

Today’s been a reasonably good day though, went over to help my mum this morning, did some gardening 🙂 then this afternoon I just chilled out at home. Not really anything exciting to report today really to be honest!

I’m feeling okay, just so tired. Am hoping I get a better nights sleep tonight, as the last couple of nights have been shocking. Averaging around 5 and a half hours a night, which isn’t enough for me. I’m an 8 hours kinda girl!

Diet wise I’ve stuck to 1800 calories today, well, am 1 calorie over, but that’s no big deal! I’m not going to stress over 1 calorie haha. Am a bit hungry now, but not to the extent where I feel I want to eat anything, I think it’s more out of boredum!

Tomorrow is gym day for me, LBT class at 12:15pm. Hoping my legs truly are recovered, or it could end badly haha! We shall see. It’s also run day for me first thing, am hoping to improve on my time from Monday at the very least, if I can improve on my last time before my injury would be even better, but am still taking it fairly easy, just in case!
