15th April

Hey folks,

I can safely say I smashed my workout today at the gym! We started out on the rower for 1500m, to warm up, then we got a little bit adventurous and had a go on the cross trainer; both of us only managed 10 minutes, but I’m still feeling it in my legs!

We also did the Fat Burn programme on the bike, which was hardcore! Then we headed over to the weight room and I did some bench presses. 3 sets of 10 reps with 10kg and then 4 sets of 10 reps with 5kg. I felt a little intimidated as there were guys in the room as well, but I persevered and thought of myself and my goals, and tried to ignore them as much as possible! It helps having my gym buddy with me too ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m really loving the gym; it makes me feel really good, and the weirdest part of it is, I love the aches and pains! It shows that things are working and that’s great!

I’ve got a long way to go on my weight-loss and fitness journey, but each day I show up and never give up, gets me one step closer to my target. I’m so determined to lose the weight again, and get myself in the best possible shape I can.

I’ve got about 2 stone 5lbs to lose, to get to my weight target; what happens when I get there I’m not sure yet, as I don’t know whether I’ll want to go a bit further or not. It’s around the same mark as my target was when I was on Slimming World, so we shall see what happens when I get there.

My quads are starting to pop now, which I love! I work hard and when things start to reflect that I feel really proud. There’s some definition appearing around my core as well, and my arms are getting stronger. All in all, my hard work is paying off and I love it!! ๐Ÿ˜€

Yesterday I meant to say that I’d got my photo’s from my photo shoot back; I’m really happy with them, they turned out really well. Just a shame that I’m so chubby :/ Here’s my favourite shots –

It’s made me realise how big I am, and just made me more determined than ever to change that.

Anyway, I’m off to soak in the bath and hopefully ease my achey legs a bit! Thanks for reading as always, means a lot.
